Tee Shirt Biography

How I began my hand-painted tee shirt line.

I started babysitting at 15 and worked as a substitute art teacher at a summer camp daycare center after high school. Although I pursued an art career, I always knew I would return to working with children. I mentored infants aged 4 to 18 months at a Montessori school. The director assigned us the task of designing t-shirts for the upcoming end-of-year program. Even my four-month-olds joined in, and we all did a great job! You can see the imprints of their hands or feet on the shirt below.
